How does osteopathy differ from physiotherapy or chiropractic?

Physiotherapy is designed to help restore movement and functionality after an injury. Physiotherapy details can be found here. Chiropractic is designed to treat the nervous system and general health by manipulation of the spine, with full details here. Osteopathy treats the body as a whole and aims to treat not only the painful area of the body but also to look at why the injury has occurred and how we can avoid the problem re-occurring. They do all have the same aim to reduce pain and to allow the body to heal however each practice employs different techniques.
